OPEC, non-OPEC reach 86 percent compliance with product cuts

OPEC said a joint committee monitoring the terms of the agreement held its inaugural meeting in Vienna to verify compliance on the production cut agreement made in January.

Brent crude oil steadied around $70 a barrel on Thursday as investors searched for a stable price range after a near 40 per cent fall since June.
