First Briton to die fighting Daesh in Syria is a former marine

Kurdish spokespeople are reporting that Konstandinos Erik Scurfield, a 25-year-old former British marine, has become the first UK national to be killed while fighting with Kurdish militias against Daesh militants in Syria.
