Injaz and Arab Bank celebrate the success of the Career Month Program

As part of its Career Guidance programs, Injaz conducted the “Career Month” program throughout the month of March sponsored by the Arab Bank. The program targeted 10th and 11th grade students from across Amman and was implemented through a series of workshops, where students were connected with banking professionals to highlight the banking industry in Jordan.
The program commenced by an opening ceremony at the Hyatt Hotel that included an introductory session by the Arab Bank and Injaz, followed by four 40-minute sessions conducted by the Arab Bank employees showcasing Human Resources, Service Excellence, Consumer Banking and Operations. An informative and fun Quiz followed concluding the day’s activities. In order to provide students with a more comprehensive background of the banking industry and better guide them in choosing their future career paths, more Career Month activities took place throughout March in cooperation with the Arab Bank branches.
The 200 students paid two field visits to various Arab Bank branches to experience the banking sector first hand, where they got a chance to talk to the Arab Bank employees and watch them perform their daily job duties. Career Month was concluded by a closing ceremony at the Hyatt Hotel where students presented what they had learned during the program; a video competition will be held on Injaz Facebook page to select a winning team from the student presentations. The winning team’s prize will be a field trip organized by the Arab Bank. To conclude the ceremony, certificates were handed out to students; Arab Bank volunteers were also presented with special giveaways as a token of appreciation for their effort and contribution.
This comes as part of an Injaz and Arab Bank Memorandum of Understanding signed earlier this year, by Injaz CEO, Ms. Deema Bibi, and Ms. Dina Shoman, Executive Vice President - Branding, whereby Arab bank adopted four schools in Jabal Al-Nasr area under the Gold Package, in addition to implementing Career Month, participating in Job Shadowing and Company Course at Hayy Al-Amir Hassan School 1, Zarqa’ Al-Yamama, and Um Al-Harith schools.
