Clinton: Iran swap deal not enough

U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton stated an Iranian deal to swap some of its enriched uranium for reactor fuel is a "transparent ploy" to try to avoid new U.N. Security Council sanctions over its nuclear development plans. Speaking in Beijing, Clinton declared Tuesday the deal submitted to the U.N. nuclear watchdog has a number of deficiencies and does not address international concerns about Iran's atomic ambitions.

According to the AP, she stressed the U.S.-led push for new Security Council measures on Tehran would continue.
