Iran's Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani on Tuesday warned that the American "puppet show" for regional security is a new political fraud. Speaking in the parliament, Larijani said, "Islamic Republic of Iran's strategy seeks unification among Muslim countries as well as Shiites and Sunnis."
"Regional countries must know that the US puppet show for security and protection of the region is nothing but a new political fraud and it wants to pave the way for its presence in the region at the expense of other countries."
According to ISNA, He pointed out to deployment of the US missile systems in four Gulf states - Kuwait, Bahrain, the UAE and Qatar and said, "it is interesting that regional countries' concern on Iran has been declared as the justification for the measure."
Addressing the US officials, he said, it seems strange that they are not aware that they are region's problem with sending more and more (army) equipment to the region.
