Khalifa University organizes National Digital Imaging Student Competition 2011

The first place winning photograph was taken by Khalifa University student; Aidarous Bani Hashem in the National Digital Imaging Student Competition (NDISC) 2011, which was organized recently by Khalifa University. As for the second place winning photograph it was taken by Mohamed Al-Ali from the Petroleum Institute, and third place winning prize went to Hessa Al-Serkal from Higher Colleges of Technology.

The competition was sponsored by; Grand Stores (Nikon and Fujifilm), IEEE UAE Signal Processing and Communication Chapter, IEEE UAE Computer Chapter, Middle East Section of BCS (The Chartered Institute for IT) and the winners were awarded a Nikon and Fujifilm Camera. There was also widespread participation in the competition with 46 photographs being submitted by students from 7 universities across the UAE.
