Egyptian composer/singer Mohammad Raheem that the recent Egyptian January 25 Revolution has encouraged him to file a lawsuit against Egyptian superstar Amro Diab for using one of his compositions without buying the legal rights for.
Mohammad said that a few years back he had presented the composition for the song “Illi Baini Wa Bainak” (What is between us) to Amro, but the latter turned him down and did not buy the propriety rights for the song and sang the song anyway.
According to the internet website MBC.net, Mohammad added that the legal rights of the song belong to the production company ‘Good News’ and Amro has released the song over the internet illegally and even used it in one of the cellular commercials he did.
