Egyptian lawyer Abd Al Hameed Sha’lan has filed a lawsuit demanding a stopping of the new television drama “Samarah” due to the involvement of its leading actress Ghada Abd Al Razegimeiq with members of the former Egyptian regime. Abd Al Hameed is accusing Ghada of being against the makers of the Egyptian January 25 Revolution that overthrew the government of ousted President Husni Mubarak.
Abd Al Hameed also states that Ghada is involved in a relationship with Safwat Al Shareef’s son, who is considered one of main corrupt people of the former regime. The lawyer added that this fact indicates that Ghada is a bad example of Egyptian artists and she should not appear in an Egyptian project to be aired during the holy month of Ramadan.
“Samara stars Ghada, Lucy, Hassan Husni and Yasser Jalal. It is written by Mustafa Muhram and directed by Mohammad Al Naqli. Currently negotiations are currently held by the makers of the drama and different satellite channels to sell the drama to be aired during Ramadan.
