Lebanese singer Elissa is currently living a state of extreme fear for her life after she received threats from a man vowing to burn her face with acid water. It has been known that the man making the threats is a fan of Lebanese signer Nawal Al Zoughbi.
The singer read the threats on several internet websites that stated that the said man and a group of Nawal’s fans plan on throwing acid water at Elissa to deform her completely.
The man making the threats called on all of Nawal’s fans to join him in his planned out scheme. The reasons behind the man's intentions were not revealed.
Despite the fact that two hours after the threat letters were made on different websites they were erased, police officials were immediately notified to take the necessary measures against the man and protect Elissa.
Elissa has hired a number of bodyguards to guard her home and accompany her at all times to avoid any harm from the man or people supporting him.
