New Year’s Eve concerts in Lebanon this year will not be as abundant as in past years and ticket prices will not witness any significant rise. Only a handful of singers will be holding concerts in Lebanon this New Year’s Eve due to the current unstable conditions the country is witnessing.

According t the London based Al Sharq Al Awsat, in the past years, ticket prices had reached a rise up to 1500 US dollars whereas this year ticket prices range from 150 to 1000 US dollars. The concert to be held by Syrian prominent singer George Wassouf alongside Lebanese singer Amal Hijazi is considered to be the most expensive with tickets ranging between 300 and 1000 US dollars.

The second most expensive tickets are for the performance by Lebanese singer Wael Kfoury and Lebanese comedian Basil Faghali reaching 850 US dollars followed by a performance by Lebanese singers Elissa and Fadel Shaker with tickets ranging between 300 and 800 US dollars.

Lebanese singers Ragheb Alamah and Haifa Wahbi are also scheduled to perform in Lebanon at the ‘Al Bayal’ center with tickets costing 350 and 750 US dollars.

The concert to be held by Lebanese singers Assi Hilani and Nawal Al Zoughbi is considered to be within the budget of most Lebanese with prices ranging between 250 and 400 US dollars. It is said that most tickets for this performance are almost sold out.
