Egyptian lawyer Nabeeh Al Wahsh has filed a lawsuit against Egyptian actress Ghada Abd Al Raziq accusing her of presenting films that are provocative and full of sexual scenes demeaning the quality of Egyptian art.
The lawsuit stated that officials from the former Egyptian government that was ousted during the January 25 Revolution had encouraged such sexually based films and always awarded actresses for taking part in such films.
On a different note, Ghada stated during a recent interview on the Egyptian satellite channel ‘Dream’ that she will not answer attacks against her made by Egyptian director Khaled Yousif due to her position regarding the revolution. Ghada stressed that she will never forgive Khaled for accusing her of betraying her country and saying she does not love her country.
Ghada said that Khaled had accused her of numerous things during the revolution and all allegations made by him and the press are not true. She added that it is not her nature to say hurtful things about anyone are false accusations.
