The international magazine ‘Marie Claire’, which focuses on women, has chosen Lebanese singer Haifa Wahbi as a symbol of true Arab beauty. Haifa and numerous women from around the world were chosen to symbolize different regions.

The Spanish version of the magazine had published their nomination of Haifa and the chief editor in the Middle East stated that one of the main reasons that Haifa was chosen is due to her long black hair and that is symbolic of Arab women, which is considered half of a woman’s beauty.

The article that was published about Haifa said that Haifa’s long black hair and big eyes are the dream of every Lebanese and Arab woman.

In the English version of the magazine, Haifa’s picture was next to a headline that was titled ‘the ideal description of an Arab woman: Lebanese women are the most women to spend most of their time and money at the salon’. The article included women from around the globe that represented their countries or regions.
