Lebanese singer Haifa Wahbi will be held guest at the 18th round of the Damascus Film Festival, which is sponsored and organized by the General Cinema Association. The festival will take place between November 7 to13 in Syria.
Recently, Haifa had revealed during an interview on the satellite channel “Rotana Music” that she will be held guest at the mentioned festival and said that she wanted to thank the head of the festival Mohammad Al Ahmad for inviting her. She stated that Mohammad’s admiration of her art and achievements gives her the incentive to do better and seek more challenging acting roles in films.
Haifa recently received an award for being the best female singer to act in a film for her role in the Egyptian film “Dukan Shahatah”. The award was presented to Haifa from the Sixth Arab Radio and Television Network Festival for cinema and television works.
