Egyptian actor Hani Ramzi revealed that he has given his final approval to play the role of Jamal Mubarak, son of ousted Egyptian President Husni Mubarak, in a new film that is currently being prepared.

Hani is currently filming the scenes of his new television drama “Ibn Al Nitham” (Son of the system), which is scheduled to be aired during the holy month of Ramadan. The actor stated that the drama sends out a message to the man or woman who will be elected as President of Egypt stressing that once inaugurated; the new president must walk through the streets of Egypt to understand the needs of the people.

Hani said that the new drama reveals a number of important issues that were done behind the scenes in the former Egyptian government. He noted that the drama marks the first time he presents politics on the small screen and it will contain humor as he portrays the hidden secrets of the former regime of Mubarak.

He added that he hopes the next president does not simply take the new position as an easy office job accompanied by fame, prestige and a mansion, but he says that all those running in the presidential elections have in mind the fame and power.

Hani said that he hopes people’s demands are met and happiness is brought back to people’s lives by abolishing unemployment, poverty and poor health conditions.
