Egyptian prominent actress Hannan Turk strongly rejected nominatingMuslim preacher Amro Khaled for the coming presidential elections in Egypt. Hannan stressed that Amro’s contradicting nature makes him unfit to be president of Egypt.
Hannan stated that after the January 25 Revolution, which overthrew the government of ousted President Husni Mubarak, chaos broke out in Egypt and she is against mixing religion with politics stressing that Egypt is not like Iran.
Hannan firmly said she does not support nominating Amro for the presidency due to the fact that in the recent period he had made numerous contradicting statements on different television channels about the conditions of Egypt and the revolution making his stance unclear.
