Jamal Suleiman distraught over conditions in Syria

Prominent Syrian actor Jamal Suleiman has described conditions in Syria as being a matter of life and death, and demanded the prosecution of those responsible for brutally killing protesters in the streets that are calling for their freedoms to live in democratic country.

 

Jamal said during an interview with BBC the Arab version that the devastating conditions in Syria have gotten out of control and people’s lives are in danger. Jamal stressed that he supports any peaceful protest that call for political reform, which Syria is in dire need of.  He also said that he is against any foreign interference in Syrian matters.

 

The actor called on officials to take immediate actions to stop the bloodshed and prosecute those that had fired gunshots at protesters. He also said that stability and security needs to return to Syria and its citizens.

 

Jamal was among artists who conveyed their condolences to the families of those that lost their lived during the protests.
