Egyptian director Khaled Yousif denied circulating rumors that he has postponed the screening of the film “Kaf Al Qamar”. Khaled stressed that as previously scheduled the film will be screened at the end of April.
Khaled stated that the film is very appropriate to be screened at this time and relates to the current conditions in Egypt and the Arab world. Khaled denied allegations that he had added new scenes to the film. He added that the film’s story anticipates similar events to that of the Revolution of January 25, which overthrew the government of Egyptian President Husni Mubarak.
The film is written by Nasser Abd Al Rahmad and stars Naser Abd Al Rahman, Jumana Murad, Wafa Amer, Ghada Abd Al Raziq, Khaled Saleh and Haythem Ahmad Zaki.
