Lebanese singer Mariam Fares had injured her foot while filming an episode for the popular Ramadan Fawazeer (Riddles) show she is hosting. The show is aired on the Egyptian channel “Al Qahira wal Nas”, which is also the producing company for the show.
Despite the fact that her foot was bruised from the injury, Mariam forced herself to put up with the pain and continued filming. Filming of the episodes took place at Vision Studios in Lebanon.
Producer of the program Tareq Nour, who owns the channel “Al Qahira wal Nas”, did not think that the significant success the show made would lead Mariam to demand a tremendous raise in her wage if she is to present the program again next year.
Behind the scenes rumors had it that Mariam demanded she be paid 1.25 million US dollars a quarter of a million more than this year, in addition to her insistency that the same team who worked with her this year on the program remain for next year.
