The organizers of the internationally known Jordanian Jarash Festival have announced that the festival will be held after it had been halted for the past four years. The organizers stated in a press conference that the festival will feature some of the most prominent singers from around the Arab world, in addition to numerous cultural performances by groups from around the world.
According to the London based Elaph, the organizers of the festival had made it a point to overcome all obstacles and bring the festival back to life and have arranged for performances that will surely draw large number of audiences and make it a success.
Among the names that will be holding performances are prominent Lebanese singers Najwa Karam and Milhim Barakat, Syrian singer George Wassouf, Ghada Rajab, Nabeel Shu’ayb and Omar Khayrat.
The organizers are hoping that by having such a prestigious list of singers, the festival will be a great success. The festival will be launched on July 20, and will last for five days.
