Lebanese Nawal Al Zoughbi revealed that she is hoping to convince Lebanese singer Wael Kfoury in singing a new duet with her after their past successful duo “Meen Habeebi Ana” (Who is my love). Nawal is currently working on her upcoming album titled “Ahla Al Layali” (The best Nights), which is scheduled to be released during the summer season.

According to the internet website MBC.net, Nawal stated that she is putting extra hours at recording studios in order to complete all the songs of the album that are sung in the Khaliji (Gulf), Egyptian and Lebanese dialects.

Nawal revealed that she cooperated with a number of prominent poets like Ayman Bahjat Qamar and Baha Al Din and composers like Mohammad Yahaya, Amro Mustafa and a new young composer named Ouf Shadeed.

With regards to the duet with Wael, Nawal noted that she is holding a number of calls with Wael to agree on the details of the new song. Nawal said she longs to be reunited with Wael once more and repeat their first experience of singing together.

Nawal stated that Wael had immediately welcomed the idea of singing a duet, but the fact that she is signed with the production company ‘Melody’ and Wael with the company ‘Rotana’ is creating an obstacle for them. She added what is making matters worse is the fact that Salem Al Hindi, who is the General Manager of ‘Rotana’, wants the duet to be included in Wael’s upcoming album a matter that she refuses.

Wael is trying to find a middle grounds in order to proceed with the duet and have it aired on all satellite channels.
