Egyptian actress Ola Ghanem denied circulating rumors that she has resigned from her acting career and worn the Islamic headdress Hijab based on a desire by her daughter. Ola made her remarks through the program “Shawsharah” that is aired on one of the Egyptian channel.

Ola stated that these rumors were created by one of the female artists competing with Ola and by creating such lies she could steal away roles Ola was previously nominated for. What made such rumors seem true is Ola’s absence from celebrations and festivals that were held currently for the different dramas and films she had acted in.

On a different note, Ola also denied rumors that she had insulted prominent actor Hussein Fahmi, whom she acted alongside in the recent drama “Baba Nour” and was aired during the recent month of Ramadan.

Ola stated that she never insulted Hussein or said she would not act with him again and all these lies are fabrications by sick individuals. Ola said she never implied that she regrets her role in the drama “Baba Nour” but rather she was dissatisfied with her own role noting that most of her scenes were omitted.
