Gigi Hadid announced on Twitter Thursday that will longer be participating in the 2017 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show in Shanghai.
"I'm so bummed I won't be able to make it to China this year. Love my VS family, and will be with all my girls in spirit!!" the model wrote.
"Can't wait to tune in with everyone to see the beautiful show I know it will be, and already can't wait for next year! :) x," Hadid continued without giving a reason for her absence.

Hadid and her sister Bella announced that they would be walking the runway at the show scheduled for Tuesday in August.
Hadid has come under fire for a Snapchat video released earlier this year in which the 22-year-old was seen making fun of Asian facial features which may have led to her dropping out of the show, it was reported back in September.
The Victoria's Secret Fashion Show is set to feature 18 new models including newcomers Estelle Chen and Victoria Lee along with veterans such as Alessandra Ambrosio, Adriana Lima and Behati Prinsloo.
