Prominent Lebanese superstar Ragheb Alamah won the award for best duet in 2010 at the FM Music Awards Festival for the song “Inta umri” (You are my life), which he sang with Columbian/Lebanese singer Shakira.
Ragheb expressed his honor at the award and stated that Shakira sends her regards and thanks everyone for choosing their song to be the best duet. Ragheb also received an award for best clip for 2010 for the song “Sineen Rayha” (Passing years).
The FM Stars Music Awards festival was held on December 4th in Cairo Egypt witnessing presence by some of the most prominent stars in the music industry. Awards were presented by stars like Syrian actress Jumana Murad, Egyptian stars Fathi Abd Al Wahab, Rania Yousif, Shareef Muneer and Khalid Abu Al Naja.
The event was hosted by Osama Muneer and Jihan Abdullah. Awards were given to best song writer, music distributor, composer, production company and singers.
Lebanese singer Haifa Wahbi also received two awards at the ceremony, one for best clip for the song “Yama Layali” (So many nights), and another for best single for the same song.
Egyptian singer Mohammad Hamaki was able to win three different awards, one for best song, the second for best singer and a third for best film theme song.
