The organizing committee for the Moroccan Music Festival Mawazine had announced that prominent Saudi singer Rashed Al Majed had regretfully apologized for being unable to perform his scheduled concert that was on May 22 due to deterioration in his health condition.
According to the internet website MBC.net, officials at the festival stated that Rashed has been receiving medical treatment for the past ten day, but unfortunately there has been little progress and he is unable to hold any live performances.
In an official apology letter to the festival from Rashed he stated that his current health condition forbids him from holding his performance, but he promises his Moroccan fans that he will take part in upcoming festivals.
The organizing committee of the festival had sought Moroccan singers Hayah Al IDreesi and Foad Al Zayadi to perform instead of Rashed.
