Egyptian folk singer/actor Saed Al Sughair revealed that he feared for the safety of belly dancing Dina’s life while filming scenes for the new film “Shari’ Al Haram” (Al Haram Street) in the streets of Cairo. Saed stated that he feared unexpected attacks by bandits roaming in the streets and so agreed with the director of the film to film the outside scenes in the early hours of the morning when the streets are considered semi-safe.
Saed said that he also feared for the safety of all the cast of the film, especially due to the fact that after the January 25 Revolution that overthrew the government of ousted President Husni Mubarak, the streets of Egypt have been chaotic and people are constantly being harassed by criminals and troublemakers.
The film stars Saed, Dina, Ateen Amer, Badrieh Al Sayyid and Lutfi Labeeb. Saed revealed that the real reason behind Syrian actress Jumana Murad’s withdrawal from the film is the fact that she is preoccupied filming other works.
