Sources have revealed that Lebanese singer Elissa has separated from Libyan businessman Tareq Al Khaytuni due to his violent nature. The couple had been preparing for their wedding which was to take place this current year.
According to the Lebanese magazine Nadine, it is said that Elissa ended the relationship permanently and will not change her mind after discovering his true personality that began scaring her. The magazine noted that Elissa was shocked when one of Tareq’s ex-girlfriends who informed her that Tareq used to torture the women he knew by beating them and then forcefully sleeps with them. These facts made Elissa end everything without thinking twice.
Elissa now tells everyone openly that she has broken up with Tareq and what was between them is now in the past. In addition when anyone asks her about him she says that they are no longer together.
The singer had only a few months ago announced her love affair with Tareq on the entertainment program “Hadeeth Al Balad” (Talk of the town). At the time Elissa had stated that the right man for her does not have to be from Lebanon or from have the same religion as her.
