Egyptian singer Shireen Abd Al Wahab described Syrian singer Asalah Nasri that she has the personality of someone who cannot be befriended. Shireen, was shocked when she learnt that Asalah had publicly stated that she consider her one of her most hated enemies.
During an interview for the magazine Majalat Al Khaleej, Shireen said she could not believe that Asalah had said on the weekly entertainment program Ibshir, which is aired on MBC and hosted by Lebanese television host Nishan, that she hates her (Shireen) with a passion. Shireen added that it is very impolite of Asalah to publicly make such statements even if their friendship had ended.
Shireen stressed that she would never consider Asalah as her enemy, especially since at one point they were very close friends. She added that she was very hurt with Asalah’s remarks and the only thing she has to say is that Asalah is a chatter box and does not know when to stop.
On the show Ibshir, Asalah had revealed that there are disputes between her and Shireen, but did not give any details on the nature of the problems. Asalah had said that she now considers Shireen to be one of her enemies and that if she ran into her at any occasion she would not exchange any kind of greetings.
