Egyptian singer Tamer Husni and producer Muhsin Jaber will postpone the release of Tamer’s new album, previously scheduled to be released this summer.
The decision was based on the instability of the music industry and the entertainment world in the Middle East due to political upheaval in several Arab countries. Tamer and Jaber feared it might negatively affect album sales.
Tamer has recorded around 30 songs, and will select the best for the album that marks the last Tamer will submit to Muhsin’s production company ‘Alam El Phan’ according to his contract.
Tamer also postponed the release of the third sequel to the film “Omar and Salma” due to unstable conditions in the Middle East.
