The LG Harat League Winner visits the Real Madrid Academy in Jordan

The “Prince Shaker Neighborhood” team from Zarqa, the LG Harat Winner, has visited the Real Madrid Academy in Jordan in cooperation with the YAD Foundation, Hikmat Road Safety, and the Ministry of Education, aiming to prepare players for their highly anticipated visit to Real Madrid in Spain next month, and to acquaint them with the most important football techniques and modern tactics. 

During the visit, the LG Harat winner team got the chance to meet the academy’s students in order to build positive relations based on mutual respect. Also, workshops were designed and implemented to benefit the players, most importantly covering: the type of training provided by the academy, opponent respect, players’ diet, strategic plans and tactics, maintaining physical fitness, ability to acquire skills, as well as the importance of academic factors and follow-ups on studying. 

Mr. Kevin Cha, LG Levant Managing Director, commented, “Our role does not come to a halt with the end of the LG Harat League, in fact we continue to follow up with the players and organize programs for them to stay up to date with the most important football developments; this visit is just a simple illustration of future activities to come.” 

YAD Foundation President, Mr. Salem Al Zaben, had further commented saying, “We have realized the importance of organizing such a trip, so that the LG Harat League players may have the chance to meet new players, brought together by the love of football, and so that they may widen their benefits and horizons.”        

Furthermore, the Real Madrid academy coach, Mr. Zaid Namrouqa, added to the above by saying, “This visit is considered an important step for players of both teams to meet and gain better acquaintance, thus exchanging skills and individual techniques, especially in preparation for their visit to the Spanish Real Madrid soon.”  

At the end of the visit, the LG Harat League students received the Academy’s “Badges,” as they expressed their happiness for the visit, which greatly contributed to strengthening their skills and widening their horizons on both athletic and personal levels; they further expressed their wish to participate in similar programs and activities in the near future.    

It is worth noting that LG had previously announced its sponsorship of the grand prize, being a trip to Real Madrid in Spain in the upcoming month of September, for the winning team of the LG Harat League, granted to the “Prince Shaker Neighborhood Team” from Zarqa. The wining team would then participate in training camps for a whole week to learn football skills by some of the most professional European and international club coaches. Also, the “Prince Shaker Neighborhood Team” will get the chance to attend one of Real Madrid’s game matches during the Spanish League, and watch it live from the grounds of the “Bernabeu” stadium in the Spanish capital, Madrid.
