Sha'ban, the eighth month of the Islamic (hijri) calendar, holds a unique significance in the hearts of Muslims worldwide. Though it may not carry the same prominence as other sacred months, such as Ramadan or Dhul-Hijjah, Sha'ban is revered for its role as a precursor to the blessed month of fasting, Ramadan. Its position between Rajab and Ramadan marks it as a pivotal time for spiritual preparation and reflection.
In 2024, Sha'ban is set to commence on the 11th of February, following the conclusion of the preceding month, Rajab. Like most months in the Islamic calendar, Sha'ban consists of either 29 or 30 days, contingent upon the sighting of the moon's crescent.
