A photo for the Russian President Vladimir Putin posing with a Saudi minister in St. Petersburg, Thursday, was shared widely on social media with mixed opinions.
A Saudi delegation headed by Saudi Minister of Culture Prince Badr bin Abdullah bin Farhan arrived in Russia, Thursday, to attend the International Cultural Forum of St. Petersburg.
The Saudi minister was welcomed by the Russian President and later on, he posted on Twitter a selfie he took with Putin expressing his gratitude for the invitation.
Translation: ““We responded to the invitation from our friends in Russia to participate in the St. Petersburg Cultural Forum, and it was an opportunity to meet with officials to promote cultural cooperation.”
