Sometimes you just have to laugh it off.
Or at least, that's what these two men decided when a sniper, claimed to be from Daesh (ISIS), began targeting them. They teased the shooter as they held a bag up in the air and hid behind a wall.
The fighters were allegedly from Shiite paramilitary forces in Iraq, formerly known as the Mahdi Army and renamed the Peace Brigades. It's hard not to believe uploading the video was at least partly used as propaganda in the conflict; supported by Iran, Iraqi forces and paramilitary go to great lengths to remind us of their strength in the fight against Daesh.
But the fighters' jovial moments are still pretty entertaining, and a contrast to most of the coverage we've seen coming out of the war. Here's the video:
