Egypt's major two opposition movements pulled out from parliamentary elections on Wednesday after they were all but shut out in the first round of voting. The Muslim Brotherhood and Wafd withdrew in protest of what they said was widespread fraud in the election on Sunday.

The Brotherhood won no seats, and Wafd won just two. The ruling NDP party won almost 95 percent of seats in a bigger than expected sweep.
