The match of all matches on Saturday sees Everton host Manchester City at Goodison Park. The visitors have had a horrendous run of form at the Merseyside club's ground and Liverpool will hope that their neighbors can do them a favor.
City have shown that they are vulnerable at times this season and Everton have the ability to attack them with great counter attacks and through individual skill and effort.
Everton were on the verge of securing a top four place before their recent run of frustrating results and the side will be looking to rectify that situation with a win of Manchester City to give them a boost.
City know that this is their chance to truly take control of the title race. A victory over Everton will see them go three points closer to their maximum ending total of 86.
The long line of Toffee's injured and not available is not much at all. Everton will for certain have no Gareth Barry because of the weakened squad rule and also Leighton Baines has picked up a knock and will be a game time decision.
Manuel Pellegrini will potentially be without one or both of Jesus Navas and David Silva as both wide players are carrying knocks, but there is no room to leave a decision on the table for their side.
Everton XI: Howard; Coleman, Stones, Alcaraz, Baines; McCarthy, Osman; Deulofeu, Barkley, Naismith; Lukaku.
City XI: Hart; Zabaleta, Kompnay, Demichelis, Clichy; Milner, Toure, Fernandinho, Nasri; Aguero, Dzeko.
