Israeli warplanes carried out three raids in the Gaza Strip overnight injuring four Palestinians, Hamas security officials and witnesses said Thursday. Two people were hurt in strikes on the east and west of Gaza City and two others were wounded in a third attack on the centre of the Gaza Strip, they said, according to AFP.
Earlier Wednesday, a rocket fired from theGaza Strip hit southern Israel but no one was hurt, an Israeli army spokesman said. Army radio said that another rocket fired at Israel fell short and landed inside the strip.
