At least 13 Palestinians, including five children and three women, were wounded in a blast at a training site of Hamas' military wing on Wednesday in Rafah. Locals said a "huge explosion" occurred in the Tel As-Sultan neighborhood, causing damage to buildings around. The injured were in stable condition, reported medical sources.
On the other hand, a spokeswoman for the Israeli army said two mortar shells fired from Gaza Strip landed Wednesday within the Eshkol region in the Negev desert. They caused no casualties. The Israeli army said it is the fifth launch of mortar shells or rockets since the beginning of this month.
