A Palestinian man died and three others were hurt by Israeli tank fire at the northern Gaza Strip town of Jabalyia on Wednesday. Jihad Affana, 20 years old, was killed after a tank shell fired from an Israeli tank went off near him in Jabalyia, Gaza sources reported. He was an Islamic Jihad activist.
Two women were also wounded when tank shells hit their home in Beit Hannon in the nothern part of the Gaza Strip. Not far from there, a Palestinian man working near the Beit Hannon crossing at the Gaza-Israeli border was injured by Israeli fire.
