Gaza Strip: Palestinian killed in Israeli raid

A medical source in the Gaza Strip conveyed that a Palestinian was killed Tuesday afternoon in an Israeli air strike targeting him in the east of Khan Younis in southern Gaza Strip. Abu Adham, a spokesman for the local emergency services confirmed that Muhammad Jamil al-Najjar (25 years old) was killed and a passer-by was injured in a missile fired by an Israeli aircraft while he was on his motorcycle east of Khan Younis. " 

Meanwhile, Hamas denounced the Israeli occupying forces for arresting Palestinian Legislative Council member Omar Abdel-Razeq, who is one of Hamas's most prominent leaders in the West Bank. The Israeli occupation forces arrested Abdel Razek this morning after raiding his house in the town of Salfit, south of Nablus. The Israeli forces searched the house and confiscated some of its contents and a number of documents before they took him to an unknown location.
