A number of bombing attacks killed at least 13 people in Iraq Tuesday. In the northern city of Tikrit, authorities said bombs went off outside of the home of a high-level security official, killing 11 people. Investigators say most of those died were the officer's family members.
A second bomb exploded at a checkpoint in the city of Samarra, north of Baghdad, killing two police officers and injuring at least two others.
