A deadly terrorist attack was reported Wednesday in the Iranian city of Chabahar. There were conflicting reports on the death toll as the results of the two blasts near a local mosque. On his part, the country's deputy security minister, said: "Two explosions early this morning (Wednesday) in the city are under invistigation.
Ali Abdullahi said that explosions took place at 10:30. He also added that the two blasts took in locations close to each other. He said the blasts were carried out by suicide bombers. The blasts took place in front of the mosque of Imam Hussein as people had gathered.
On his part, Mohammad Yaqub Jdgal Chabahar Representative at the Iranian parliament referred to the blast as "terrorist operations" and stressed the number of dead is not clear. However, according to him, 50 to 60 people have been transferred to medical centers.
