Moda Mall unveils its July 2011 Childrens' Festival

MODA Mall, the ultra high-end shopping complex at Bahrain World Trade Center (BWTC) today launched its fun-filled festival “A Summer unlike any other” in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture (MoC).

Complementing the Ministry of Culture’s ongoing Bahrain Summer Festival 2011, the fun-filled festival at MODA Mall kicked-off with the official unveiling of Rashid Al Oraifi Kids Art Workshop.  As part of the launch, Barney and his friends made a special appearance at MODA Mall to stage a preview of ‘Barney’s Space Adventure’, a musical show scheduled to begin tomorrow at the Bahrain International Exhibiition and Convention Centre.

Running for the second consecutive year, the Kids Art Workshops, led by Mr Al Oraifi and his team will be held every evening from 4:00pm to 8:00pm until 13 July 2011 for talented youngsters. During the workshops the children will learn the general painting technique effect, excite, entertain and inspire the young minds in the beauty and rich cultural heritage of art. 

Being held at the mall’s Central Court, the festival will also include a workshop with Studio Ceramics (paint your own pottery studio). Commencing on 14 July, from 4:00pm to 8:00pm the   shoppers and visitors will have an opportunity to paint a range of bisque (white pottery) items and create their very own masterpieces. As part of the celebrations, a preview of the Fan Yang’s Gazillion Bubble show, a captivating show with breath-taking bubble magic will be held on Wednesday, 13 July 2011 at 6pm in MODA Mall.

The MODA Mall Childrens’ Festival “A Summer unlike any other” aimed at attracting families, shoppers and visitors of all ages to enjoy a fun-filled program will run until 23rd July 2011.
