Montblanc creates exclusive collection of unique jewellery pieces

The five glamorous one-of-a-kind editions of the Montblanc Haute Joaillerie “Mélodies Précieuses”, a poetic dream of faceted jewels, exude emotion and passion. They are love songs, composed of 18-carat white gold and a row of scintillating diamonds.

In the elegant diamond set “Première Rencontre”, each spark ignited by the first meeting is immortalised in a string of star-shaped diamonds, while the “Coeur à Coeur” edition, a composition of round and heart-shaped diamonds embodies the deep emotions, which follow. The exclusive, unique character of the three other one-of-a-kind editions derives from the interplay of brightly shining diamonds and dark spinel stones.

“Première Rencontre” evokes that first encounter, which is always remembered as one fired by dazzling emotion. With the expert's feel for elegance and the harmony of pure, understated forms, 301 round-cut diamonds with a total weight of 10.54 carats have been strung together to create tiny stars – a glittering array of brightly sparkling stones of exceptional brilliance which goes to make a supple and breathtakingly radiant necklace.

Just as in Jules Massenet’s moving opera, the striking design of the “Coeur à Coeur” collection symbolises the continuing course of life, which is crowned again and again by great, heart-felt emotions. Fashioned to a necklace set in 18-carat white gold by master jewellers, this classic string of flawless round-cut diamonds is accentuated by 32 interspersed heart-shaped diamonds. Here, too, the elegance of the design lies in its simple, but refined character, the preciousness of the most beautiful diamonds, totalling 22.98 carats, and the brilliance of the central star-shaped Montblanc Diamond – the focal point symbolizing love's fire.
