Egyptian folk singer Shabaan Abdul Rahim has completed recording a new song titled “Mish Hantikhib Al Barad’ie” (I will not vote for Al Barad’ie. The song is expected to be aired on different radio stations in the very near future.
The song is a political one in which Shabaan states that he will not vote for anyone for the seat of Egypt’s Presidency beside the current Egyptian President, Husni Mubarak, and that no one is worthy of being President aside from Mubarak.
The most recent song released by Shabaan was about tomatoes titled “Hata Inti Ya Qutah” (Even you tomatoes), and was written by Mohamad Hasan Al Sharqawi.
The song was aimed at lowering the price of tomatoes, which had increased enormously and became an expense not everyone can afford.
