Nawras Bowling Championship 2011 winners get BlackBerry handsets and Internet modems

Nawras Bowling Championship recently concluded with a riveting final game as George - last year’s runner up - triumphed this time around, to be named as 2011 Champion in the professional category. Held at Muscat’s Al Masa Mall, this annual event always attracts the city’s bowling enthusiasts from beginners to experienced players and tightly contested games take place until the final ball is bowled.

The sporting challenge was taken up by the amateurs too with Ahmed Ali Nasser finishing first ahead of second place Mohanna Al Busaidi and Alfred who came in third.  Meanwhile, Jenny became the ladies champion for 2011 with Minnie and Alisha Al SIbani coming in second and third positions, respectively.

During the prize giving ceremony, Hussein Al Fadhill, Nawras Sponsorship Specialist, said, “It is clear that all those who have taken part in the 2011 Nawras Bowling Championship have greatly enjoyed the competition and I would like to thank you all for playing and offer many congratulations to all our winners.  We look forward to welcoming even more participants next time and in the meantime invite you all to get closer with Nawras!”

Al Fadhill presented the winners with their exciting prizes of BlackBerry handsets, WiMAX modems for home broadband and voice, E5 WiFi mobile internet modems, generous sums of Nawras credit and SIM cards. Prizes were given to all those achieving one of the first five places in each category.
