Nawras launches great value welcome packs and new Home Broadband and Voice plan at COMEX

With a strong presence at COMEX 2011, Nawras announced the launch of innovative welcome pack offers as well as the introduction of a new Home Broadband and Voice plan. These new products and services show Nawras bringing even greater value to customers for mobile services and broadband internet.
Nawras unveiled the new Bronze plan to further expand the wide choice of Home Broadband and Voice options now being offered by Oman’s customer friendly full service provider. Using a simple plug and play WiMAX modem, the monthly Bronze plan, priced at just 9 Omani Rials, gives 1GB of free data and is available as a postpaid or prepaid service. As with all Nawras Broadband packages, the Voice service is included for free so there are no monthly subscription fees to budget for – customers only pay for the calls they make.
On the first day of COMEX 2011, Nawras also introduced enhancements to existing Home Broadband internet plans. The Silver plan is reduced in price by 1 Omani Rial to 14 Omani Rials per month while the Gold plan is now giving a maximum downlink speed of 3 Mbps and uplink of 1 Mbps with 20 GB of data per month for 19 Omani Rials. The Platinum plan is now including unlimited data for a monthly rate of just 24 Omani Rials.
Home Broadband and Voice packages come in a full range to suit different usage styles ranging from occasional users to home professionals. As well as providing choice, Nawras has taken the worry out of bill payment too. Postpaid customers can accept a free data limiter to ensure their monthly bill never exceeds the agreed amount.
Nawras also launched new welcome packs at COMEX. The new prepaid welcome pack for only 2 Omani Rials includes the Nawras Mousbak SIM-card as well as 1 Omani Rial of free credit and also free local SMS worth 1 Omani Rial.
New Nawras Ajel (postpaid) customers will receive 180 free minutes for Nawras to Nawras national calls with their welcome pack for only 2 Omani Rials. Each month for the first three months, 60 free minutes will be given for calls within Oman. All Nawras Ajel customers also benefit from a permanently low calling rate of just 19 Baizas per minute.
Further value is evident in the current 6+6 offer for all Nawras mobile customers. After sending one blank SMS to 80020, customers speaking for six minutes to any international destination during off-peak hours will get the following six minutes of the conversation for free. This offer continues until 20 May 2011.
Details of all these great value promotions and more can be found by visiting COMEX, any Nawras Store or the company’s website at www.nawras.om. Nawras, a Qtel Group company, is dedicated to providing pleasingly different telecommunication services to people in Oman.
