NBK launches the new term of “NBK Academy” for this year

National Bank of Kuwait (NBK), the best bank in the Middle East, has launched the new term of "NBK Academy" for newly hired employees. 33 new staff members representing the first batch of trainees this year are enrolled in this intensive program.

Aimed at developing the skills of young Kuwaitis, “NBK Academy” comes within the framework of NBK’s strategy to attract and hire qualified nationals.

NBK organized a special ceremony to welcome the new employees. The ceremony was attended by NBK Group CEO Ibrahim Dabdoub, Deputy Group CEO Isam Al-Sager, NBK CEO-Kuwait Shaikha Al Bahar, NBK Capital CEO Salah Al-Fulaij, NBK General Manager Corporate Banking Group Mazin Al-Nahedh, NBK General Manager Human Resources Group Adel Hechme & NBK Deputy General Manager Consumer Banking Group Abdulla Al Najran Al Tuwaijri along with a group of senior leaders at the bank. Dabdoub urged the employees to exert maximum efforts during the training period and wished them success in their career at the bank.

NBK Head of Human Resources Group Emad Ahmed Al-Ablani said: “The launch of "NBK Academy" as the first initiative of its kind in the private sector in Kuwait is part of NBK’s strategy to attract the Kuwaiti young cadres and improve their skills in order to prepare highly qualified Kuwaiti banking leaders in the future”.

The program will extend for a period of 8 months and is specially tailored to provide the trainees with theoretical and practical skills covering the different scopes of the banking industry.
