NBK launches Save Electricity campaign at all NBK branches

NBK Public Relations Manager Abdulmohsen Alrushaid announced that NBK has taken the necessary measures to ensure henceforth utmost rationalization of electricity and water consumption in all branches and premises throughout Kuwait, as well as NBK's Head Office as a proactive gesture of support with the ongoing nationwide electricity rationalization campaign. 

Alrushaid said that NBK's management has decided to stringently apply an all-inclusive rationalization of electricity consumption throughout all NBK's premises and local branch network, particularly during evening shifts, adding that in concordance with these measures, NBK is in the process of launching an in-house and  full fledged awareness raising campaign to educate the Bank's employees on the best methods and behaviors of rationalizing the consumption of electricity and water in both work places and houses.    

"NBK's new in-house initiative is another testament of the important role played by the private sector institutions and organizations in respect of proactive involvement with the emerging crisis and challenges encountered by the society. By this new initiative, which is the natural outcome of NBK's profound belief in its corporate social citizenship and the importance of social constructive involvement and participation, the Bank is also setting forth a good example of corporate social responsibility for other public and private institutions and sectors," Alrushaid concluded.
