The Powerline AV 500 Adapter XAV5001 is IEEE 802.3 and HomePlug AV compliant the adapter weighs 0.13 kg. The product can provide typical coverage of up to 5,000 square feet. The unit comes with a 500 mbps Powerline AV interface and a one-gigabit ethernet port. As with all NETGEAR products, the Powerline AV 500 Adapter XAV5001 is environment friendly - with features like Power on and off buttons; automatic power shutdown when not in use and comes in 80 per cent recycled packaging. The new kit can also expand a powerline network and works compatibly with Homeplug AV including NETGEAR Powerline AV 200.
