‘Big House of Fun’ kicks off at Al Qasba on June 25
Al Qasba Development Authority has announced that the ‘Big house of fun’ will kick off on June 25th and will include a variety of shows, environmental activities, science workshops, and arts and crafts activities that will dazzle the audiences. The event which will be organized till July 25th will also host a series of summer activities and competitions which aim at providing entertainment and fun times to families and children.
The organizers have revealed that the first week will host a bi lingual Cinderella theatre play with elite of highly trained actors, singers and dancers. The magical stage show will run from June 25th to July 1st and will be accompanied by other fascinating shows such as the ‘Mad Science’ and ‘Ronald Mc Donald’ shows. Furthermore, children will be engaged in arts and crafts activities where they will learn how to make 3D wooden toys, holiday themed scrap book making, paper globes and lollypop stick pencil holder.
In an amazing world of sciences and discoveries, Children will have the opportunity to explore and enrich their knowledge through interacting, asking questions, observing demonstrations and completing experiments with science experts present at the special tent at Al Qasba. The topics of the first week will cover magnetic attraction, energy & motion, Kitchen Chemistry, space frontiers, wiggly world of worms, digging for dinosaurs and shapes and structures.

The “Big House of Fun” activities will take place in a special built tent every day from 5 pm -11 pm. The air conditioned tent will be divided into various sections, namely the stage, the fun zone and shops’ section, which includes a variety of shops selling toys, stationery, and entertaining games. The tent will also include various sections where educational workshops will be held, educating children as well as adults on the importance of adopting an environmental friendly approach, teaching them various scientific facts about our mother earth, as well as holding Art and craft workshops.
