‘Light’ Earthquake Shakes Egyptian Capital

An earthquake shook the Egyptian capital of Cairo on Tuesday, causing panic among some residents, but there were no immediate reports of casualties or damage. 

The state-run news agency MENA described the tremor as light and said the seismological center at Helwan, just south of Cairo, would issue a report on it shortly -- CAIRO (AFP)
